Service Description

It is an inflammation or degeneration of the wrist flexors’ tendon that attaches to the medial epicondyle of humerus. Common cause of this injury are weak forearm muscles, poor technique during a golf swing, overuse - repetitive flexion movement in the wrist joint, unsafe movement technique and alignment. Symptoms experienced are: • Weakness in the wrist • Forearm pain – which increases when gripping or during resited flexion • Client history presents potential causal factors • Pins and needles affecting forearm, medial side of hand and fingers, impairment of ulna nerve As treatment I will cover the muscles in the forearm with focus on the tissue techniques to address tight musculature of the forearm. The whole procedure will include: • PRICE to treat inflamation for acute and subacute injuries • Lengthen short muscles • Remove adhesions at the medial epicondyle • Check the range of movement (ROM) in the elbow after the treatment to ensure there is suficient ROM • Check the strength and proprioceptive abilitites to carry out daily activities without developing compensatory movements.

1. Reschedule can be done if the appointment is cancelled with more than 12 hours before the time of treatment. 2. Cancellations with less than 12 hours before treatment, will incur the appointment fee. 3. No shows will incur the appointment fee.
