Swedish Massage improves the condition of the skin because the increased blood supply increases the delivery of nutrients and oxygen, therefore speeds up the removal of metabolic waste. Metabolism is increased which stimulates the cells production, improving the condition of the skin as old cells are replaced.
We will have an initial consultation which is very important as it allows me to determine the treatment that suits you, with the aim of meeting your needs and expectations. I use Grapeseed oil which is 100% pure, unrefined for maximum absorption in the skin. It is the most commonly used carrier oil due to its wide ranges of benefits and suitable for all skin types. It softens and nourishes the skin, useful for who do not like oils that are too greasy.

ADVICE
To get most from the massage treatment
REST
Sit and rest for a few minutes after the treatment, and avoid excess exertion as rest allows the body to be able to heal. Take a warm bath.
DRINK
Avoid alcohol and smoking, tea or coffee and stick to herbal teas or fresh juices.
Drink plenty of water as this helps to flush out the toxins that have been released from the soft tissues.
EAT
Avoid red meat.
Eat light meat – if the body is using the energy for digesting a heavy meal, it’s not putting its energy into the process of healing.
