As an athlete, you can include massage in your regular training to increase muscles performance and have greater fitness results. Because pain and injury are most common factors that prevents athletes to reach their full potential, a weekly massage treatment will help the muscles to lower the risk of different soft tissues and associated overuse injuries. Why to book a treatment? An intense competition can be extremely demanding and rigorous physical activity can cause the muscles to tighten which results in a ischemic reaction (inadequate blood supply) and restrict the blood flow to the muscles Massage after a sport event will assist the body to remove muscle waste, stretching the tissue and regain the range of movement in the joints with a great atention to the tissues if they are injured or if there are acute problems. When You should book it? Imediately after the event and not later than 24 after the event. What are the effects? - lactic acid if remains in the muscles can be very destructive, for maximal recovery the rapid and efficient removal of lactic acid is essential; - decrease muscle soreness and/or cramps to facilitate faster return to training; - re-establish Range Of Movement and blood flow to the muscles; - give a big psychological lift and assist with to return to the training; - alleviate any joint stiffness. Passive stretching to regain the mobillity in the joints will be applied on the muscles where an excesive force has been used and might feel sore.


Cancellation Policy
1. Reschedule can be done if the appointment is cancelled with more than 24 hours before the time of treatment. 2. Cancellations with less than 24 hours before treatment, will incur the appointment fee. 3. No shows will incur the appointment fee.
