Service Description

The piriformis syndrome or sciatica is an impingement of the sciatic nerve at the sciatic notch, usually as a result of its aberrant course through the piriformis muscle. Can be caused be contracture or spasm of the piriformis, overuse. The pain can be felt in the buttocks and referring pain along the course of the sciatic nerve in the back of the thigh. It is aggravated when sitting, performing squats, climbing stairs. The piriformis muscles causes impingement of the sciatic nerve at the schiatic notch, usually as a result of its aberrant course through the piriformis muscle. Symptoms : Pain radiating down the buttock Pain radiating down posterior leg Muscle spasms Treatment will lengthen the tight muscles and relieve the pain in the lower back which radiates down through the buttocks and legs.

1. Reschedule can be done if the appointment is cancelled with more than 24 hours before the time of treatment. 2. Cancellations with less than 24 hours before treatment, will incur the appointment fee. 3. No shows will incur the appointment fee.
